The Hunger Games Capitol Makeup Ad
I’m fan of ‘The Hunger Games’ book series and was super excited to see this eyeliner ad inspired by the capitol! I love the name LOL
ITS CINNA! I love it. I also love that this is completely fake. Here is the ad link directly. It moves and everything I just wouldn’t work for me for some reason.
Remember ‘The Hunger Games’ Is out in theaters on March 23. I’m so excited. I already have my Midnight release tickets.
An eyeliner that would match this would have to be a pencil Liner from Milani and I believe Urban Decay has a liquid liner in gold. Also you can just take your favorite gold pigment (mine would be Sugarpill’s Goldilux) and make it into a liner with some Fix+ or a mixing medium.
Tutorial: Color Injection
Hi guys! As you well know I’m in love with color. Since the weather in my area has been a little gloomy I thought I would make put on a makeup look that would brighten everything up..I guess.. that was a bit cheese ball but stay with me here. I got the Mehron AQ palette and never really put it to good use. So, one night I thought i would incorporate it into my everyday wear as a base. It worked amazingly even though its water activated.

Halloween: TRON Legacy Makeup Inspired Tutorial
Rosalina Da Silva is my favorite makeup artist. She has a unique makeup style that I absolutely love. She pays tons of attention to detail even on a minor level. From the foundation to the eyeliner everything is perfectly planned out. She’s done makeup on movies like Underworld, Suckerpunch, and of course Tron Legacy. I researched everything she used and I’ve seen face charts so I tried to get everything as close as possible to the original while still giving it my own twist.
Of course as always you dont have to use the EXACT products that I use to create this look. Use whatever you have and just be creative. I list some substitutions below as well.

Halloween Series: Lady Gaga as Jo Calderone VMA 2011
My friend is a massive Lady Gaga fan and really wanted to be Jo Calderone. I offered to do her makeup and well decided to film it for whoever else might find this useful. I think its fun, easy, and cheap to recreate. You just need a few shadows and some gel or a wig and youre golden.

Halloween Series: Space Nebula Mask
This is my first Halloween idea for you guys. I thought that maybe if you had a very limited budget, didn’t really have a costume, or just needed something thing quick. This would be perfect. Also if you were a space cadet but I dont know if they sell that costume. So here it is!
September Favorites
